The setting is built around original artefacts from archaeological excavations in Mazovia. It is further enriched with filmed and drawn reconstructions, copies of artefacts which may be handled by the public, as well as various multimedia, games and puzzles for children. The combined content of the exhibition provides a compendium of knowledge about the<a href=\"https:\/\/mshm.pl\/en\/our-mission\/mazovian-centre-of-metallurgy\/\"> <strong>Mazovian Centre of Metallurgy<\/strong><\/a>, which existed in Late Antiquity in western Mazovia; it presents an overview of the iron smelting industry in that era and the daily life at associated settlements, as well as the broader historical context of the MCM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A special mention should be made of the holographic projection of a <strong>reconstructed painted glass beaker <\/strong>\u2013 the Museum\u2019s most valuable artefact. Modern technology allows viewing this unique vessel crafted in the Roman Empire in its full glory for the first in almost 2,000 years. Another highlight of the exhibition is an interactive 360-degree video of scenes from the life in a prehistoric settlement.
