About us

THE STEFAN WOYDA MUSEUM OF ANCIENT MAZOVIAN METALLURGY IN PRUSZKÓW explores and protects the unique pre-historic heritage of the Mazovian Centre of Metallurgy – the second largest iron smelting centre of Barbarian Europe. In carrying out its mission, the Museum takes special care of its unique archaeological collection and organises numerous education and outreach events. As a “living institution”, it is a meeting place for people of science and culture, and a place open to the local community. The Museum also carries out many events and workshops outside its walls.
